Sherry Hill-Christie

Sherry has served on the Corporate Board for several years and was instrumental in the Development Committee and shared her expertise in housing and outreach.

Sherry works as the State Service Officer for the Ohio Housing Authorities Conference, a nonprofit comprised of Low-Income Housing Authorities throughout Ohio. She plans conferences and trainings and is the liaison for vendors and other affordable housing nonprofits.

How did you become interested in working with older adults?

In my career, I work with some of the community's most vulnerable people in low-income housing. The Area Agency on Aging serves many of the same members of the community.

How has your life changed since becoming involved with the Area Agency on Aging?

I have learned so much about the enormous scope of services provided to the community by the Agency. Through the Area Agency on Aging, I was able to help my aunt find amenities as she transitioned into assisted living.
